I am looking for a good cut flower, I like the zinnias, but I would like to try another kind of flower sort of like the zinnia.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking for sunflower seeds that grow really tall sunflowers with a big head. I am also curious about the amaranth what is it? how fast does it grow? and what is it used for? Any information on any of these things would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Altho not a zinnia type flower, a peachleaf bellflower makes a wonderful cut flower.(and is perennial) Also try tithonia "torch", this is a beautiful flower. The "torch" variety is more compact, tithonia can get to over 6 feet tall. There are also many zinnia varieties that would also be nice.

I have looked in all my catalogs and do not find any seeds for the peach leaf bellflower. But I did find plants. This is a perennial. I have tried to grow regular bellflowers and havent had any luck. I would try plants if you can. They are very pretty. Campanula persiciflia can be found at Bluestone Perennials and White Flower Farm. I have used Bluestone and they are a good company and prices are affordable and they have a guarantee. Good Luck
