The Question I have is store it for eating of to show at competition at county fair?

If storing it for competition, I like to either pickem early in the morning like 5 am ish to just right before i get ready to drive to the show. I take a cooler and fill it full of ice and water this helps keep it freash and freasher cabbage gets higher rankings.

If storing it to eat I just wash it off really well and stick it in the frig in a vegie crisper works great.

Don't cut the root, pull the whole cabage and hang it in a cool dark place.
Refrigerate it if it has been cut.
