Ken Dade of the UK just broke Mark Bagg's (Dorset Farmer on bp) marrow record.

Mark's record was 62 kg (137 lbs), the new record 65 kg (143 lbs).

Needless to say a few of us marrow growers will seek revenge next year.

The WR longest cucumber was also broken (waiting for Guiness' official recognition). Alfred Cobb (UK) seems to have broken his own record.

Wow, Congrats

Being a fellow marrow grower I want to say congrats on a hell of a big marrow.

Also looks like I will have a possible colorado state record for marrow. BUT nothing like what was shown.

Can I get a seed or two? Need to improve my genitics.

Aaron, to my knowledge Ken Dade never hands out seeds. I can set you up with some that will do that too given the right conditions.

Dade's WR is an (alli)gator type. If you look close at the picture you will see some of the others are the ridge type, with ridges running along the sides. My 90.6 was a gator type. Only a few seeds but should have some to spare for serious growers.

I would love some seeds. I dont really have good genitics for the marrow. its from my 34 pounder last yr that produced a few seeds.

Read the above post of mine Rhonny. Ken has no contact with anybody and doesn't give out seeds.
