Do the stump removal powders really work? Drill holes, pour solution, wait few weeks and the stump is suppose to be real flakey.

Says it works, I use roundup, full strenth apply with paint brush and eventually dies and easy to chop up.

Didn't work for me. I bought some off of a guy on eBay. I drilled hole all over the stump, soaked it in kerosene and did everything I was instructed to do. I've taken out a few of them, what works is digging up under the stump so there is available oxygen to burn the stump and build a fire. One tree I burned was 40-50' tall, pretty large "Box elder" it took the whole tree to burn the stump out, a three day fire.
Stump grinder works best.

Same here, especially any stump you can't pull out with an ATV or a 4x4....stump grinder is the only way to go.

I don't think a few weeks is enough...I think I drilled and filled the holes a year before...the stump was like rotten sawdust when I soaked it.
