When should you pick your heavy carrots and what is the best way to store them over the fall as one weigh off is not until the first week in november.

Pick them the day of the weigh-off. If it freezes, cover them up with straw or whatever. The first week of November is fine for carrots. Keep the foliage on it till at the weigh-off. Cut it off just before the weighing.
