I have OS Cross and MegaTon giant cabbage seeds. Wanting to know if these need to be started early, like the giant Onion seeds are (which I started last night).,? All thoughts appreciated!! Peace, Wayne

Ok Wayne maybe I can help,when do you want to pick them? If not for a fair or contest yes start them early March.You get maybe 90 days out of them max and I did get 110 last year but it was going down because of the heat.But remember They like the long days of sunlight also to get big heads.Keep the leaves off the soil and have good air around them.They like it cool and not hot. I shade them if I know it is going to be 90 or higher. A little more info then you were looking for thou.

One more thing, there are some like show-off cabbage, Northern giant that go 120 days or more.
