About how long after leaves have been tilled in should a soil sample be taken?? I understand leaves should be broken down before sample,,how long should it take for them to break down enough???

jeff that depends on how old the leaves were when you added them ,nitrogen content of your soil,ph,well basicly the condition of your soil if you've got lots of worms and other organisms that turn organic matter into nutrients plants can use also how much was added but you're looking at 3 months or more

You will want to reevaluate your pH the first of April. Now you will know what you have to add before the seed goes into the soil.
