First time growing onions from seed and I have them in a tray full of soil, pretty sure all seeds germinated,so that part went well but I just gave them their "4 inch haircut" but can't help but be concerned that the "original leaf" is looking yellow although the main stem is still green and pert...I don't want to lose them and not really expecting to break any records, but just how much light do they need(intensity and hours) and how hot do they need be-I'm using a 4 x 4 florescent fixture...also I'm growing some "candy" onions for storage and they are looking better under the same conditions.
