Alot :) depends on what variety you are looking at as the seed sizes are different.

at least 10 lbs if you use 30" rows with 2" spacing I would get 15 Lbs to be on safe side. I use a regular air feed corn planter to plant mine. I only put about 2 lbs of seed in 7 of the 14 boxes and run for about 300 Ft around then edge of Round up ready field corn. It works for me.

I have planted Ambrosia sweet corn for years in a 2 row planter that is set to drop a kernel every 8 -10 inches. I don't like to plant any thicker than that because of moisture concerns. At that setting it takes about 3 lbs per 1/2 acre. Remember, you can hurt your yield planting it too thick.
