This is my second year growing these for the fair. I have several now at 37 inches and still growing. Last year I had them in the garden and they only got maybe 21 inches. This year I have them in the hoop and they are amazing. The fair is still 30 plus days away will the plants keep setting long beans till then? and how long will they keep after picking?

They set all summer long for me....but the pods mature and dry really quickly...so keep letting it set fruit....not sure you can take a shrunken dried paper-thin pod with seeds in it to fair as a long bean no matter how long it is....but dont know.
