These amaranth are capable of growing close to 30 feet tall. One of my plants this year was 24 feet 4 inches. These same saved seeds also produced a 25 feet 9 inch plant in Sweden. They are also capable of producing stalks over 6 feet in circumference in a single season. I recommend starting them indoors as soon as possible because they are slow to get started.
