I am way ahead of yardwork compared to previous years. I cut down about 15 trees and cleared the area, now I'm waiting to plant grass seed there. If I plant the seed now, will it lay dormant until daytime temps allow for germination or should I wait another month.

Andy I would plant it whenever you have the time, it will lay dormant until the conditions are right. YOu may be surprised by when it comes up. I seeded a lawn a couple of weeks ago thinking that it wouldn't come up until mid to late April. The weather has been nice and I have the lawn coming up right now. The bigger the head-start you can give your lawn against crabgrass and other warm weather weeds the better off you will be.

Thanks, I'll add that to the list for the week-end.
