I bought a elephant plant bulb and don't what part of the bulb is top or bottom.

Most bulbs go pointed end up. But what is an Elephant Plant?

I believe it's called a Calladium, and yes, pointy side up! The huge leaves resemble an elephant's ears. (In our area, they must be dug up and brought indoors to survive the winter!)
