Has anybody ever grown field pumpkins or other varieties of pumpkins only on a trellis? Last year I had little space at our old home and ended up growing some pumpkins up and along the fences and building ledges for the fruit to grow. This year I am thinking about growing straight up a big trellis and building ledges as need be. Any thoughts or experience? Thanks
