Curt, are you fixin' to rid of someone, or just cripple them permanently?

Troops in India have grenades full of ghost peppers. Toss one into a house/cave whathaveyou and see if anyone is inside.

Or if there is someone inside you want outside.

I'll start searching, Curt.

mom2, be careful...the original story about ghost peppers, was a story about the original growers of ghost/bhut peppers, and the tribe had a festival in the fall, and used one yes "1" of these peppers in a 300 gallons of Chicken Stew of some type!!! The first person I saw growen em used 2 layers of "serious" protective equipment (gloves) when touching them!!! Curious...is this the first year Tom will be making salsa using Ghost peppers? Peace, Wayne

PS...the article said Jalapeno's are about 8K on the skale...so 125 Thousand times hotter!!!!!!

Here is my take on Ghost peppers... The plant is amazing approx. 3-4 feet wide and atleast 3 ft tall, loaded with peppers...that said, they are the most nasty smelling and tasting peppers that I've ever tried, the smell reminds me of Kerosene, and the taste, well lets just say that when I used a few thin slices to heat up a pepper jelly, the flavor had a hint of that nasty Kerosene like smell.
As far as heat goes, I like hot food, not so hot that you want to vomit, but heat with a nice flavor...this pepper only covers one...the heat. I dabbed a piece of one on my tongue to test how hot it would be...OUCH! My gums were numb for a little while, and the back of my throat was on fire, I couldn't stop coughing for a few mins....lol.
That said, I cannot see using these peppers other than a novelty, and believe me when I tell you, this plant is absolutely loaded, it is insane...lol.

Tom, it sounds like a slice would go great with a vodka and ginger ale.

Lmao
