Hey guys, wondering how long a regular field pumpkin takes to mature (turn orange) from pollination? I have a bunch pollinating the last week here and hope to give them away around October 9th. Thanks

HHG -- nice looking pumpkin ! It should make it to Halloween -- I planted early here last year and had field pumpkins last 4+ months after being pulled - so you made the right choice getting it out of the field before that woodchuck got to it ! (though if you leave it on the porch he may still find it one night !)
