Pete though Ian is going to keep Pete looking over his shoulder.
Sure won't be mine unless I am aiming for 2013, though I do have sprouts. :)

I have been wondering about giant onions lately. How do you get started in giant onions?

You have to start in the late Fall With Kelsae or Alisae Craig Onion seeds...They are actually kind of difficult to grow...

It's a very expensive vegt to grow if you want to be really competitive. Special Light, heater, fan during many months. A true heavy onion can cost a fortune.
