I have two apple and a peach all dwarf. This will be season 3 post transplant and they bore some fruit last year. The apples had what I would guess is scab. Can any of my pumpkin fungicides and insecticides be put to use? I have merit, bifen, eagle 20, aliette, subdue, heritage in my stash. I also have mostly unlimited access to all other commercial sprays that you all might suggest. Thanks in advance for any help! We are budding up here in east pa.

Probably codling moth and plum cuculio. They are really hard to get rid of I have never been able too even with weekly spraying they still get 50% of the fruit. Trying to use traps for them this year to spray when they are around instead of guessing.

It is better to spray them while dormant.

I also have daconil. I assume this one has to be approved for fruit trees. There are no blossoms started at all yet, is there anything I can spray? Thanks

I use Fung-Oil which was recommended by my local nursery. It controls leaf spots, rust, blights, fruit rots, mildews, scab, molds, and other diseases. It is made by Bonide. I had shot hole last year and you should be ok if they have not bloomed. Definitely spray it in the fall after it goes dormant and in the spring while dormant.

You can spray dormant oil on them before they bloom.

it's expensive...but, I know there's some farmers using codling moth pheromones to disrupt their mating patterns. It's working too.

Myclobutanil (Spectracide Immunox Multipurpose Fungicide Spray Concentrate) is a synthetic fungicide that is effective against apple scab. You can apply it any time from green tip until after petal fall.
Do a Google search for Immunox and Apples;)
