Yes...It is an excellent eating squash...comparable to a butternut in flavor..not as good as a butter cup.. But still an excellent squash to eat. The issue with big squash is who can eat or use 12lbs of squash..We use to bake it off and freeze it

Although I haven't eaten it I hear that it is quite good. I had someone ask me where they could get some seed for it because they also heard it was kind of rare and in demand around here. You can always cook the squash and freeze it or make squash soups or breads. Kind of risky to can it. If it taste anything close to Buttercop I could eat 12 lbs. of it. Soup kitchens are always grateful to get it.

cause i grew it last year without manure or nothing and it had no taste, could be that it has alot of water, 4 hours of drip every 3 days, i have no control over watering
i will try it agaain thanks for your help it wasnt that big i dont think

we put Queenland Blue in last year--they did very well in the organic markets and are doing them this year again- they were 8 - 15 pounds ---good eating GOOD storer too--YEP
