i have a problem with moss,both in sun and shade. my ph is 7.8 . I have been using lawn fertilizer both spring and fall. any suggestions?

what does the rest of the soil look like...moss likes to grow in poor compact soil which is heavy in clay, with excessive moisture. How did you get your soil PH 7.8 seems odd as your area is normally acidic. Improve drainage by aeration like a plugger type...add some compost. If nothing else spray some moss killer which has a potassium base

i don't know how my soil got to a ph of 7.8 but does it make sense to raise it even more? it'a sandy soil.

How did you get the 7.8 result soil test or meter? If you soil is truley at 7.8 it will need sulfur to reduce it down to 7.0
