My co-worker isn't too impressed with Giant Pumpkin growing, and seems to think the Sun Shines out of the "Eyes" of his freshly planted "Spuds".

He's only been with us since the start of the year so I want to cut him some slack, since he hasn't seen a Giant Pumpkin, "Up-Close and Personel".

If anyone knows a link, or the Grower, and weight,or any info. I could use to try to relate to this guy, I'd appreciate it.

thanks
kevin

The WR potato is 10.98 lbs and was grown by Peter Glazebrook of England last year. He is known as "giantveg" on this site, but I don't think he has a picture of the WR in his diary.
Here is a link to the 2010 WR of 8.27lbs he set.

Most countries don't allow seed potatoes to enter their country. Furthermore each country has their own varieties and the variety that grew the WR is pretty much only available in the UK though it seems to have originated in Holland. They are not available to private people here though.
