I am a newbie to growing squash, like acorn squash, how long does the main vine get on a squash plant? and can you move it without worrying about snapping it.

It gets 6-8 feet and yes move it slow during the warm days. I have some acorn squash set on my vines already. They grow like crazy with nothing but water.

My dad did some hybrids from my patch this year. The vines are huge! 10 ft already and he has picked a couple dozen squash already. Very delicious. They were seeds from a freak plant i had last year.
