Well this year i had some REALL good luck with some BIG sunflower seeds I purchased off ebay.ca
my biggest one with flower to date ( as of Sept 2nd 2003)
is 13.2 Ft Tall with a Nice thick stalk and BIG flower
Id like to save some seeds from the flower and was wondering whats the proper way of doing this? whens to late to early whens the right time and whats the proper way to store these seeds till come spring next year?
I know its probably not big or comes close to what others have grown but its the biggest one out of the 12 i planted over the past few years and would like to save some seeds to try for some even bigger ones next year
Thanks
DaveM

when it starts to droop it it curing the seed. that's when the critters really like them. ive seen pantyhose tied around the flower head. and ive seen paper bags painted with scary faces.
