La coupe est pleine! I can´t hear that fanfarons from Moscow anymore! They have stolen the Cucurbita moschata `Kentucky Field´ and sold it to the best Swiss pumpkin seed company as a new variety `Russian Vitamin Pumpkin´! Now I have grown C. moschata `Early Butternut´ x C. moschata `Kentucky Field´ in Europe, and the Russians want me to name it `Russian Vitamin Butter´. Yesterday Ron Rahe wrote this to me: "Using the way most pumpkin growers use, your cross would be named Ammer cross 2013 `Early Butternut´ x C. moschata `Kentucky Field´. or Ammer cross Tanned Butter if it becomes popular. Growers like the genetic info." Yes, my Tanned Butter needs no kremlic vitamins!
