just wondering when do you start giant radish seeds is it same as carrotts?? thanks pizza

I seen on one site that sells seeds they need about 50-50 daylight and night.
This quote is from where I bought my seed.
"It is started around the first of Sept. and harvested in mid-winter. ”
I hope this helps as I found out that they do not like temperature swings of early spring in my area. mine bolted.

Radish likes to bolt in the heat. So it is better to plant in mid summer.
