Anyone ever grown these from seed? It's been a week with bottom heating, and mine still aren't up. The packet didn't say how long it takes them to germinate. Maybe I should try soaking the seeds.

i havent grown those, but that made me think of our latest undertaking.... we germinated fushia seeds and it took a month !! so stay patient who knows.

OK now I know I shouldn't lose hope, because I pollinated my amaryllis bulb's flowers back in February then planted the seeds in March. I had long given up on them, and yesterday I was in our shed, and I came upon the plastic packs that I had planted them in. Low and behold, there was a tiny amaryllis sprout that promptly got watered and cared for!
