I have too many gaps in the halloween pumpkin patch since I was too stupid and lost many to frost.
I would like to plant zuchini but is it too late? I am starting to harvest zuchini from the plants I put out around the first of June so I would calculate that it should work and I can also sell them.
I can only think of maybe bush beans to try to fill the gaps.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? I need to plant something that will ripen but that won't require too much wather.
Any help or comments appreciated! Michel

Rettiche (Sorte: Minowase Summer Cross) lassen sich sehr gut verkaufen und brauchen wenig Dünger und Wassser! Jetzt ist die ideale Zeit für die Ausaat (bis Anfang August)!

Beans would work well. How about fall crops such as fall cabbage, kohlrabi, broccoli, etc. (And whatever Martin said!)

How about Lettuce (if Martin didn't already say that).

You might still be able to put in carrots and parsnips for harvest into the fall and winter.

Beets, Rutabagas, Parsnips, brussel sprouts. If nothing else get some winter rye down for more organic matter next year.

Thanks for the great ideas everyone! I'll probably try some of everything.
