Excuse me but whats the rational behind wanting a big pepper? Got a big family and only want to cut one pepper? Giant stuffed peppers? Clue me in please.......G

I'm growing pumpkins at my friend's farm, and although he's thrilled with the pumpkins I'm growing, he likes to grow peppers and wants to see how big he can get those. Stuffed peppers would be good too for me.

I've got some big enough to feed a family of 6--with one pepper! LI, What's the rationale of wanting a giant pumpkin (or squash)? Do you end up with something to eat?
