Hi,
Anyone having any success growing these this year? How many heads on yours? Willing to share seeds?
Thanks, Chris

I've noticed from growing them for several years that there is a lot of variation in growth anf number of flowers. They still are not very stable. Ray (P&P) has been breeding them for a few years, and I think his are a bit more consistent than mine. I have the actual seeds from the world record plant. I read the article about the world record being broken and I found M. Hemker and bought some seeds from him. It looks to me that it's a cross between some wild annual sunflower and some cultivated variety. I actually had one grow single, large flower. I suspect there is some wild sunflower in it, because of the variability of germination with the seeds. It's not an consistent time frame on germination.
