i got a measuring formula off the net on how to guess the approx. weight of a pumkin but i need to make sure. i measured all the way around the fruit 114 inches, ground to ground on the sides and stem to flower, 68 inches and 66 inches . add them together and multiply by 1.9. is this right??? i have the state record for north dakota now. wow !!!! the media is having a blast with this. 3 news papers, 2 radio interviews and 2 tv anouncments. it got a lot more attention than i thought.hpefully i can make some money out of this. i was told it was on cnn national news. but i dont understand why when there is many more out there bigger than mine.

that 1.9 factor only worked for a pumpkin around 600 pounds. i hope it's still growing for you and it goes heavy. good luck!

If you did your measurements right that's 248" OTT. That equates to 319 lbs. by the 2003 Stellpflug/Martin chart.
