I dont know, but for myself I let my anger decide (which is the worst way to decide anything). I voted straight Republican because I'm still so disgusted how many mostly good people were portrayed by the (lets call it what it is: Democrat media) as insurrectionists or worse on Jan 6th. I have no doubt there were a few bad apples, a few of whom may even deserve jail time, but I'm angry for the people there who were peacefully protesting with good intentions. People who care about democracy, but who instead got villified and slandered as a whole just to perpetuate an empty divisive narrative. So there you have it, my voting is vanity run amock... Im sure I will regret my kneejerk emotions someday.
Funny, it wasnt even the economy that pushed me off the fence.
I'd love to vote for a Democrat again someday, but the political party need to do some serious self reflection about how they treat the innocent, imho. Thats my 2 dollars (gotta adjust for inflation!)
If you want to talk the politics of how and why they vote, be my guest, but I can understand how much healthier it might be to abstain.

I vote for the candidates who don't treat the american people like children who cannot think and act for themselves, incurring the responsibility that comes with their rights, and like sheep to be shepherded toward the ballot box to elect politicians who only pretend to care during election season. Interpret that as you may, there are snakes on all sides. But it seems to me that by and large the issue is overwhelmingly one sided.

I'm getting cynically of the view that political parties push our buttons on purpose just to extract money from us, but thats another reason for me to vote... for the side that isnt texting me every day asking for money!!! Just got another one a second ago. I dont know how to get off their tele politicking list. The side that helps me earn money, or truly makes the world a better place for my kids, is the side that deserves my money.

The beginning of the article is a bit obtuse/confusing but yeah...

The Bible praises being slow anger and it praises being wise. No doubt this is correct. But at the end of the day there isnt a commandment "Thou shalt not be angry."

It's a slippery slope though.

Everyone has their blind spots. My non political source says the economy is grinding to a halt. I think the reason the Democrats wont steal this election is they want someone else to do the coming years of heavy lifting required to get the economy back on track & clean up their mess.

We vote our beliefs or for whichever politician most closely reflects our beliefs. We know only what we are taught. So, if we are taught mostly lies, we believe mostly lies, and there is great danger in that. Our major US institutions, such as our education system & our national media, are heavily rigged in favor of the hard left. I grew up believing all these lies & so was of the Democrat persuasion in my younger years. It was not until I began listening to Rush Limbaugh many years ago, I began to see the actual truth of what has been going on & continues to go on in the USA.
