My understanding is that they have used accurate hypersonic weapons in the past. Its a dangerous game being played right now. Dangerous for U.S. servicemen & women.

And needless. We can afford to have our ships avoid the area. A little extra diesel is cheaper than an aircraft carrier and 2k servicemen.

Not sure there's much to gain. We assume we'll win. But there's always a chance we wont...
