Last yr I lost several GP's and had to cut the vines where they were atached to the main, and cut some lg vines due to other problems. I put a paste of captan which is all I could get around here NC. Renewed it each week but most of the time the vines rotted at pt where it was cut. Is there any thing you can mix with captan to make it stay on as it flakes off mighty bad. Or I'm I cutting the vines wrong???? Thanks Carl

put it on dry wait a day then bury or paste with loose cotton strips around the vine, and cut with a straight sharp blade or sulfur powder to dry it up.
