after many years of growing and fighting for that perfect size fruit i have come to one conclusion.
the soil is the number one ingredient. the rules are the same for a new as well as seasoned grower. you dont need a patch thats fat with every high level of all major and minor nutrients. in fact we have learned over the years that quite the opposite is true. all you need is a well balanced soil. soil thats not high in one nutrient and low (for example ) in another ---- when this happen the best experts in the field will tell you that nutrients get tied up because of this imbalance and never get released to the plant. people that have the best results are those that have there patch professionally tested for vine crops and follow the labs recommendation. its not just good advise it necessary for success. this is the best advise i could ever give a new grower. pap
