There will be a beginner's seminar on Saturday, April 15th at 10 AM at the Humphrey town fire hall. This seminar will be geared toward new folks who have never grown giant pumpkins before.

we'll have some free seeds to give out for anyone interested.

along with the beginner's seminar, we've managed to work a unique program with some local greenhouses to promote the Pumpkinville weighoff this fall (Oct 14th). they will be starting giant pumpkin seeds (from some of my pumpkins), and selling them for $1 each from the first weekend in may until the first weekend in june. you can view a map of all the greenhouses involved, the Humphrey fire hall, and Pumpkinville at:
