Ok, I see pictures of people with the truck loads of this stuff, where can you get it at? I know they sell bags at nurseries and garden shops, but those little things don't do unless you buy a whole bunch of them. I have heard of places that offer where you can go pick up a big load of it, I just don't know where. How much do they charge around, and is there a place in the northeastern Illinois/Wisconsin area where I can get some?? Thanks.

Check in the Classified section of your local paper under "Farm and Garden" or whatever they might call it. If you don't find any ads then I'd just drive up to anybody's place close by who has a few horses. Most people with stables will beg you to take it away for free around my way. Jim

I went to a local boarding stable. They have literally hundreds of tons of manure sitting in mountains all over the place. They were begging me to come back for more when I had two 5-ton dump truck loads hauled out. I just hope the never get wise and start composting the stuff.

Look around for farms. Where there's a farm, there's poop. If the first place isn't free, go somewhere else. AleX Noel.

Thanks, I know of plenty of horse farms around here. Do you guys let it sit for awhile, or do you just mix it right in the patch?
