I gave a couple seeds to a friend and a rabbit got the main on one of the 2 plants. Is there any way to salvage this plant?

depends on how long the main was and were it was chewed off. if there is any secondary vines just train a secondary as the new main.

Tell your friend to put of a fence and shoot or trap the rabbit. I hope his plant recovers.

I had a rabbit go right through my electric fence and chew a pumpkin last year. Sprinkling raccoon urine around the plant finally scared him off.
