How long can a AG pumpkin last on the vine once it stops growing? what stops it from growing? Daytime temps. 75 to 80 deg. night time temps 55 to 60 deg.

With no soft spots or splits some will last into spring.

I've had a 300 pounder that abotred or at least quit growing mid season, about July 20th or so. Its been sitting hooked to the vine ever since and shows no visable signs of rot or damage.
