Ph 5.1
N 4ppm
P 11ppm
K 38ppm
Calcium 424ppm
Magnesium 77ppm
Sulfur 22ppm
Sodium 116ppm
Iron 48.56ppm
Zinc .54ppm
Manganese 8.68ppm
Copper .35ppm

These were the recommendations:
1.3lbs N/1000sqft
3.1lbs P/1000sqft
3.1lbs K/1000sqft
Limestone 25lbs per 1000/sqft

I don't know why they didn't do the OM on it, I thought they told me they would do it.
Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

REBJR, You P.H. is a good bit low. It needs to be around 6.8 or 6.9. You, can raise the P.H. with several different things. Domilte lime is one of them. Calcium is not very good either. It needs to be over 2000. I'm not sure of you OM However I would say it's not very good. OM needs to be 5.0 or better. Thanks

You need manure and lime. Find a good supply of composted manure and pile it on. I would try for 8 yards per 1000 ft2 if you can find it. I would double or triple the lime recommendation. and get it all on this fall and get it well incorporated. Consider re-testing next spring

ya triple the lime and go with poultry manure if you can get it- it is hot but your numbers are low enough.

With the calcium number where it is should I use calcitic lime? Poultry manure is hard to get in this area but I think I've got some horse manure located. I've picked up 200# of range cubes and 16lbs of muriate of potash so far. My phosphate should be here in a few days.
I also think I'm going to pick up some rice hulls to help with the organic matter.

I just put down 200# of range cubes(alfalfa) and 16# of muriate of potash. My ag lime and phosphate should be here thursday. I'm going to at least double the lime and get another soil test in a 2-3 months.
