Any suggestions for a good reasonable priced seed heat mat and where to get it? I have seen some on the Extreme Pumpkin Store website but I was wondering if there are any other good options.

one stop shopping at the extreme pumpkin store. thats where we buy our supplies.
if all your using is a seed starting mat id suggest placing it inside a small wooden box or small plastic bin, either with a moveable cover.keep the air temp at 80-90 degrees.
bottom heat is great but air temp around the seeded pot is also important .

I know the other thing that works is if you use an old waterbed heater good luck

I bought a little greenhouse seed starting kit at Menards last spring for $21 that had a heat mat along with a seed starting tray and a clear dome to keep the heat in. Funny thing is they were selling the same heat mat by itself right next to it for 30 something so I just bought the green house kit. So far its turned out to be a good little heat mat, provided it doesn't break any time soon.
