Pap should see this and let you know if he has any of his books left. His books provides great info for growers. Post your email for him to email you at.
Also another source for books is at
http://www.extremepumpkinstore.com/ecom-catshow/BOOKS.html
You can also look at the top of extremepumpkins website and click on the "Learning and Resources" link and go read what he has there.
Another great place to find a LOT of info is right here on bigpumpkins.com. Just type in what you want to learn about into the site search and start reading past post. About everythint you need to know has been posted here.

How-to-Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins III by Don Langevin is pretty good, although it's a bit outdated. Susan Warren's Backyard Giants is also a very good book, although it's not really a how-to-guide.

Andy, Pap’s booklet Dicks Tips 2 is the awesome and can get you growing competitive sized fruit right away. I also like Don Langevin’s How to Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins II and III. We’re not that far away from each other. If you ever want to come over and chat or see my setup, you are always welcome. Joe Pukos

"Teaming with Microbes" by Jeff Lowenfels. He has two books out by the same basic name. The last one is an updated version. Good easy reading on getting your soil where it should be.

Plenty of great info out there. I like the SNGPG'S DVD. filled full of great info from start of the season till the end. I watch it often to get my knowledge sharp.
