Finally have my patched tilled and manured to death and what I have is this......23 feet wide by 70 feet deep for 1610 sq. feet. I have a picture of it in my latest diary entry and would like to know what you guys think about how many plants I could grow COMFORTABLY and still gun for over 1000 lbs. Also is 23 feet wide good enough for a christmas tree pattern...Any insight would be GREAT!!

That's a nice patch you have there, if it were me I would go with four plants and maybe cull the weakest by mid June. That would leave you with plenty of room for three plants and a shot at a PB. Go with your heart, you did the patch prep, the rest is up to you and mother nature.

Thats quite a job for a tiller. How long did that take? Looks great.

OBandit...here's another possibility...Start 4, 1 at each end, growing towards the middle. Start 2 more...both in the middle growing towards opposite ends. 1/2 of patch gets 1 plant at the end, but gives you some time to pick 2 of the 4. 23' width gives you 12.5 secondaries on each side x 35' lenght on mains. PLENTY enough space to grow 1K#ers!!! Only downside, that I see is...if both of yer best growers are on the same half of da patch!!! Peace, Wayne
