Is the vine super wide compared to the others? If just about to lay down, I would not be expecting any cracks or problems yet.

The vine is almost twice the diameter of the others planted the same time they dont look like they are all the way to the interior

Treat cracks w/ some fungicide,(Captan) keep em dry, (small plastic table over stump, or something inventive?), 24 hr air flow, (fan if possible)!!! Knock on wood, keep yer fingers crossed & Grow em BIG!!! Peace, Wayne

Thanks I dont have any captan Ill try the fan see if it holds out if not of well growing this year has been something to occupy me Iv been laid off over a year . It has been an eventful season my first patch of AGs an garden got lost to a flood .Iv replanted most everything just gonna be a really late harvest. Think Im gonna get the local congregation to come over an say a little something over the patch couldnt hurt.

pknator, certainly a few prayers won't hurt, but any available fungicide, is also in order!!! Maybe one of the congregation has a lil extra to share!!! Peace, Wayne
