Hello Duncan! What areas do you need help in? DO you have any fruit set yet? Any pollination going on? How do your plants look, etc..?

Well, like I said this is my first year trying to grow these. I have posted some pics in the diary of my pumpkin. One site said to put the pumpkin on a pallet and then someone else said not too. So this is where my pumpkins are now. The only problem is I think that I cut my vines to short, didn't know where to cut them. Don't know how the vines should be. Thanks.

Don't use a pallet pumpkin will grow in between slats and cause a split. Get some mill fabric, sand, or both.

Hi Duncan, are you growing this year? where did you get the seeds, get seeds here in fall winter, growers give them away, worlds best genetics. There are alot of great growers in WI, some of them belong to the st'Croix giant pumpkins growers association, in stillwater, MN. There are many clubs you can join, you can join as many as you like. Som clubs can be found on the menue (1st page) under links. Seeds soil sun & luck, you should really have a soil test this fall, add amendments (after posting soil test results here at BP) retest in the spring. Post any questions you have, use the search bar, two good sites that also carry products Hollandsgiants.com and Extremepumpkinstore.com
