Hi, all. I tried going 100% organic this year and got MURDERED by SVBs. I did all the preventative tactics, then tried BT injections and careful vine-slit removal and here I am with a fairly devastated plant in front of my fruit. The rest of the plant (after the fruit) is doing great and the fruit's still gaining, but with SVBs persisting, I'm finally throwing in the towel and applying a systemic pesticide.

That said, I'd love to foster tertiary growth in the wounded area where I lost more than 50% of my leaves and secondary vines. Aside from nitrogen applications, any suggestions on how I might foster tertiary growth? Nothing much is emerging on its own at this point.

Thanks in advance.

IMHO 100% organic is nearly impossible. Unless you want to look at every square inch of the vines with a mirror to find eggs.lol Believe me if 100% organic was easy/possible everyone would do it me included.

I have to be organic where I garden, I'm trying Captain Jacks Dead Bug by Bonide, suppose to kill borers also.
