I bought World Class Giant Pumpkins III by Don Langevin. Its a good book to get started with but it refers back to his 2nd book on alot of things. The 3rd edition was published in 2003. I dont know if its out dated or not, but between it and this website, and all the helpful people on here, I've learned alot this year.
