BIG SHOW DOG

Kentucky, U.S.A.

Well the best guess system didn't work all that well!!!
So, we went back to the how to manual, and managed to have some small fun! I've been practicing with what's left of the season and plants to learn what I should have known last spring, ie: soil prep, germination, pollenation, vine control, pest control, etc. Drumrunner and I have several newbies on the vine and I'll keep them going as long as I can. I had to remove the largest one (31.4) yesterday. I haven't taken time to learn the tape measuring techniques, didn't quit feel the nessecity!! Oh yea, that's in the next chapter! We still have a beach ball size with a scar from where the chicken sampled it! It does have some weight to it. One football sized one that's just 12 days old! Drumrunner will get to BWF Sat afternoon, I've got a dog show, so I expect her to have lots of pics, contacts and new friends. Look forward to meeting all soon. David

Yea DOG I took my learning lumps last year but a lot of folks here on this site helped me out over the course of last winter and I hit my goals this season. Next years patch is already being prepped and ammended (this was my one weakness this year). Ask a lot of questions between now and next season and you'll be flying out of the gates next year for sure!! Erik

Angie, St. Bernard, of course!!! Yea, I like Big Dogs! Am. Bulldogs are very nice dogs given they have good owners. They need active owners who involve dog with their activities. A bored dog is a problem dog, and it ain't their fault.
Erik, very excited to get started, but I still have good growth and some nice small ones on the vine to coaks along try to get some operating seeds and maybe some positive experience! Oh yea, there's that tiller that needs new rings before it can hammer out more footage!!! Thanks David
