I am creating a new patch. I am waiting the return of my soil sample. I was wondering is it to late to mix in a few inches of well composted horse manure into the new area?

a few inches if needed is ok, not a lot though until next fall.your soil test may indicate 8% or higher organic matter in the soil? if so your ok until fall.

The soil test came back and my organic matter is 4.7%

So i will be adding a few inches to the patch.
