My first pollinated fruit is starting to develop (I had a late start)however, it is surrounded by secondary vines and lots of foliage.
I am supposed to prune around the fruit to be able to gain easier access to it or just give it more room to grow, etc...?
If I need to prune, please advise on how/where and what precautions I need to take about going too far.
Thanks...Scall

Absolutely. Give the thing room to grow. Obviously you want to remove the least amount of secondary's and leaves as possible.

When pruning just remember to try to keep as much of the plant as possible and throw some good dirt on the leaf nodes. The leaves are what produce the carbs for your pumpkin. Good luck!
