After a crappy year, I have a pumpkin FINALLY ready to bloom tomorrow morning. I'll def be out there hand pollating it. Rubber band it out and a foam cup around it! lol If it takes..(hope that it will) What are some realistic goals on weight should I get? What are some precautions should I take this late in the season?

The break in the heat came just in time. If tomorrow was like last week and early this week I'd be nervous, but you should be good. Are you growin for a weighoff or for the front porch? You have about 56 days till the first weekend of October and that is plenty of time to grow 700+. I think Tammy did the 740 last year around 50ish days.

This is gonna be for front yard, and fall fest at the campground to show off, and its Oct 1 weekend. (our opening day of deer season) So with that being said, ur thinkin easy 400-700+ by then? Just water and compost tea?

Pumpking

Germany

Just checked my pumpkin growth notes from last year, had some pollinated beginning of August, which were about 40 pounds by August 18th and 400 pounds September 20th (despite our cool weather in Germany). Something between 300 and 600 pounds should therefore be a realistic goal for you to go for, and 700+ would be a nice surprise. Always good for front yard and other local entertainment.
